The 63rd ERA Congress was held between June 3–6, 2026, in Glasgow, Scotland, under the motto “Challenge your thinking”, emphasizing innovation, curiosity, and the latest advancements in nephrology, dialysis, and renal transplantation. Recognized as the largest annual nephrology congress in Europe, attracting thousands of healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry leaders, the ERA Congress is one of those events where the entire industry seems to gather in one place. Ideas, innovations, conversations – it all comes together here.
For weeks, we’d been planning the Exhibition together with our client, Triomed, and now was the time to step out from behind the screen, stand next to our client, see our work come to life. Read our CEO’s, Anki Davidson, report from her on-site visit.

From the moment I arrived, you could feel it: the energy, the pace, the sense that something important was happening.
Preparing for the Congress
Before Glasgow, everything lived in documents, calls, and checklists. We worked closely with the client to define what success would look like. Not in vague terms, but in practical measures – visibility, opportunities for meaningful meetings, and a strong, consistent presence throughout the event.
- What do we want to achieve there?
- Who do we want to meet?
- How should the brand feel when someone walks past the booth?
Then you arrive on site and you can feel it right away: the energy, the pace, the sense that something important is happening. You start noticing things immediately: where people pause, what draws them in, what gets overlooked.
Supporting the Client On-Site
Being there, on site means you’re constantly in motion – observing, adjusting, supporting.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, the tasks are obvious: checking that branding looked right, making sure materials were where they should be, supporting the team at the booth.
And as usual, a lot of the value came from the in-between moments. Beyond presentations and exhibitions, the congress is a hub for meaningful conversations. Engaging with industry professionals – whether during scheduled meetings or spontaneous discussions – always opens doors to new opportunities.
Triomed’s booth looked fantastic!

So many things happened: valuable meetings, sales leads, poster presentation…
Behind the Scenes

Juicy story or just an interesting detail.
Impact for the Client
By the end of the congress, the impact of an on-site presence was really clear. The Client benefited from increased visibility, strong engagement with attendees, and the high-quality materials they were equipped with.
Equally valuable was the immediate feedback gathered from conversations with visitors and partners. The insights, relationships, and inspiration generated during the ERA Congress will continue to deliver value long after the event concludes.
Anki’s Reflections on the Congress
My first ERA Congress was in 1994 and I have followed the evolution of the industry since then.
Some things never change, though.
